exists to train First Nations people to become Pastors, Evangelists, and Missionaries.
We are located at 175 East Hastings Street in Vancouver, British Columbia
First Nations Bible College does not have a Dormitory or Residences at this time and students are on their own to arrange housing arrangements.
Our program consists of classroom studies and practical ministry experience and Outreaches where we travel to First Nations communities and minister.
The entire program takes from one year to two years to complete, depending on how full-time the student works at the program.
Courses are taught module/intensive style. That is, one course is taught at a time.
A new course begins each week on Tuesday and is completed on Friday. Class hours are: 11 am - 2 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Wednesday evening at 7 pm.
New students can begin the program at any time (any Tuesday).
There are no tuition fees for students who are accepted into the program.
Graduation Ceremonies take place twice a year on the first Sunday night in June and December each year.
Winter Break is December, Summer Break is June, July, August.
A Certificate of Graduation will be awarded to students who have completed at least 20 courses and 2 outreaches.
First Nations Bible College is a non-accredited program of study and mentorship. It is designed to be a stand alone program whereby a student will be able to fulfill all of the educational requirements for Ministerial Licencing. We make no claims of the transferability of our credits to other Institutions. However, in experience, many of our students have successfully transfered from 10 - 20 credits from our school into Bachelor of Arts programs at other Institutions. Each course at our school is equivalent to one-half credit of study.
Students of non-First Nations ancestry who are fully in support of our goals and objectives may be admitted to the program.
